My favorite experience... My favorite experience in fourth grade was being in Mr.Lucci's class. This year my class and I did many fun projects. I had so much fun in fourth grade. One of the fun projects that we did this year was making Quiz Boards. they were so much fun. We also went on fun field trips. We went to UL, Heller Nature Center, and a recycling center. I wish that fourth grade does not have to end.
One thing I learned....
One thing that I learned in fourth grade is to spell better. I have gotten much better. I
still don't like it too much but it is still great to be good at it.
My favorite unit of study...
My favorite unit of study in fourth grade was science. We did so many fun things in science this year. We made terrariums in science. It was so much fun! We also made Quiz Board's. I never liked science that much. but fourth grade science was really fun.
One area in which I am most improved...
One area that I most improved on was math. I really got good at it. At first i was a little slow but now, I really caught up and I think at some topics math is fun. I also got much better at multiplication. Now I get hundreds every time!
One thing of which I am most proud...
The thing that I am most proud of is for finishing fourth grade. I have worked very hard. But I am happy that I finished it.
Our class took a field trip to the Waste Management Recycle Center. It was really fun! We got to see a HUGE landfill. We also saw what they do with all of the recycled paper! It was a Great field trip.
Favorite fourth grade book...
One of my favorite book's that I read in fourth grade was Sideways Story's From Wayside School. It was really funny. We read it as a whole class. I think that the class loved it too. Its about this school that was suppose to be one story's with thirty class rooms, but they built it thirty stories high with one class room on each story. I read the book about five time's!
Over the summer...
Over the summer I am going to overnight camp. I love it so much! This is my second year going there. I am going for four weeks. At my camp you can do so much. You can: water ski, play sports, arts and crafts, gymnastics, tub, sailing, fish, bike, cook, and so..... much more. There is even this thing you can do called G.I.V.E.. You: make cakes, make blankets, do talent shows, and play or talk to people in retirement homes, and cheer them up.
June reminds me of.....
June reminds me of warm weather. I love June. I love all months that are warm. It reminds me of lying on the beach and relaxing. Swimming in the pool, being with family and friends, and camp. School ends, plants grow. June is one of the best months ever!
Grade feelings....
When I was going into fourth grade, I wondered if it would be easy, or hard. I was also a little curious on what we would study or do. But now that I am done i think that some parts of fourth grade were easy, but some were very hard. But now going into fifth grade I feel the same way again. But a little bit more scared. I want to know who my teacher is. Now i think that fifth grade will be much harder then fourth. But i am still excited.
If I could change the school I would...
If I could change the school I would make it a greener and more respected place. I would want to use less energy. I would also want students to take better care of the school. To use less energy, we could energy saving light bulbs, recycle more, And use low flow sinks and toilets. Kids should take better care of the supplies and treat each other with respect.
My class end of the year party....
My class had the best end of the year party that I ever had! It was a tropical Howian theme. We played bowling. The bowling ball was the shape of a coconut. The pins were pineapple's. We also had hula hoop contest's, and we played bingo. It was so much fun!
